PROGRESS??

who is really frustrated??

MEEEEE!!!!!


Seriously. I started my regular workout routine on November 22nd. Working out 3-5 times a week. I was eating how i normally ate but just started working out more intensely.. 6 weeks later..NO RESULTS. So on January 3rd i began my "clean" diet. Ill admit i dont always eat completely clean but i do pretty good with it and when im not eating clean its cuz i had wheat bread or something..

Well here it is! Jan 28th, almost 10 weeks later... NO RESULTS.
waaaa!

Its so beyond frustrating working so hard and getting no results. The scale has no results. In measurements ive lost 1/2 an inch in my waist (rib area). thats it. No Inches lost in my hips. (i dont measure anything else cuz my midsection is my only problem area).




My routine as of now is mostly doing Jillian Michaels "No More Trouble Zones". I use 8 pound weights. What it does is mix cardio with weight lifting. Its really intense and will make you scream the first time you do it. I try to do this at LEAST 2 times a week. sometimes 3.
Then i add in some yoga, Pilate's, biking ect.. resulting in working out 3-5 times a week.

I always eat breakfast within an hour of waking up to keep my metabolism going good. I eat alot of salad (spritzer sprays or light italian dressing), cucumber, carrots, oranges, and apples. I mostly eat chicken for protein, or sandwich meat. I try to avoid bread, if i eat it, its wheat bread. i avoid sugar, if i use sugar, i use sweetener. If i use salt, i use sea salt. I try to drink a TON of water. I try to never be hungry..if you wait till your starving or hungry you tend to eat more.

The only thing that keeps me motivated is how good eating healthy and working out makes me feel. Im not one to sit around crying. I get up and work at it. The other thing is pictures..something i can see i look better in the pics..even though there wasnt much progress.. so anyway... here are my "progress pics"

i mean obviously there are results..but the scale isn't changing and i dont get it. So i continue to bust my butt... ill post more progress pics in a month or so.

Time to up the anti i suppose..im gonna try to work out EVERY friggin day. maybe have one day off. Alternate cardio (biking) and weights (Jillian Micheals). Well see how it goes. wish me luck

I think you look great!!! The changes may be small but they're there! And when you're doing the exercise that you're doing you tend to gain muscle mass which weighs 3x much as fat. Don't worry! Keep going!!! You look good!

i can totally see a change! i think you look great! I think your probably gaining muscle. I also read some article about your body finding the weight its healthy at. Maybe this is yours? I honestly do not think you have weight to lose! You look gorgeous! Good job lady!! Thank you for the inspiration to work out!!!

hahha thanks guys! you are too sweet..if you guys knew my weight then you'd understand why im frustrated... im not at a healthy weight for my height...its REDICULOUS haha. oh well.. the fight continues

I can definitely see the difference which is what matters. Muscle weighs s lot more than fat, that's why youre scale number stays the same. If you want to track your progress better, try measuring your waist, hips, and thighs every week. You'll see the difference!
