Dear Diary,
I met this boy today...... ok so MAYBE i met him like 5 1/2 years ago, same dif :). I feel like i am the luckiest girl in the world to have such a wonderful man in my life. Everyone hits their bumps in the road, we fight like any other couple, but the thing with Jeff, is that when we fight, things actually get fixed! Not that fighting is the right way to handle a situation. So let me rephrase that, when we fight/argue/calmly discuss concerns, however our mood at the time made us handle the situation, it always gets fixed. We dont fight just to fight. They are never empty fights meaning fights that are going no where or are unnecessary.
We understand what sets each other off and try to avoid it if necessary. We know what calms each other down. We know how each other handles situations best. With Jeff i often times have to explain that im not mad AT him, im just upset at the way the situation turned out. I have to break down and baby feed my emotions to him. Your probably laughing at that because that is a typical man issue. They just dont understand Women's complicated emotions. So instead of just being mad that he doesnt understand, i break it down. Its really not that big of a deal. So ladies... its ok to "dumbify" our emotions for them ;).
I think this diary entry has turned into the category of fighting because mine and Jeff's relationship is a little strained lately but we are pushing through it. Its strained because its summer time and Jeff's job is getting more busy which creates longer days. He wakes up at 3:45am, clocks in at 4:30am, and gets home generally at about 4pm. But often times he isnt getting home till 6pm. Then he goes to bed at 8pm. Then i work 2 days a week and on those days i dont see him at all cuz i got to work at 1pm (before he is home) and dont get off till 9pm, when he is in bed. On top of that i have to work some Saturdays which leaves only Sunday to spend with Jeff. Jeff was spraying lawns on Saturdays but with me having to work some Saturdays we didnt have a babysitter and it it was stressing our relationship with not seeing each other much. So he quit that job. On that note, there HAS to be some Utah law against randomly making me work Saturdays. If i cant work Saturdays i wouldnt apply for Saturdays. So when you tell me i have to randomly start working Saturdays, and that doesnt work, i loose my job?? that just doesnt make sense to me. I NEED A LAWYER! haha. But fuuh reeeeal. ANYWAAAAY..
I just feel so blessed that we can effectively get through our disagreements and that both of us can build. That i have a man that treats me with so much respect and even though he goes a little over the top sometimes, he makes sure the problem is resolved.
Im a lucky girl.

Cute blog!
I voted for you over at Circle of Moms.
I had my first baby when I was 19. I'm 26 now, but I can def. relate to your time in life right now :)
Every relationship has its ups and downs. You'll fall in love, out of love, and back in love more so than you've ever been before. Enjoy every moment. Forgive quickly, learn patience and have fun.
God bless!

My husband and I used to work completely opposite shifts so I know how hard it is not to be able to see each other often. You'll get through it :)
Hooray for love!!! Just found your blog, girl, and LOVE it!
