As much as September 11th 2001, is a day i'd like to forget, it hard to.
(all pics found off google)
I want to forget it because it is so sad. So depressing and scary.
I was 12 years old.
We had just bought a new house in Pleasant Grove and commuted every day from Salt Lake City (25 miles) every week day for school. Our house wasnt quite finished when the school year started so that is why we commuted. My sister lived in Pleasant Grove so we often stayed at her house during the week.
So on this horrific day, i remember i was at my sister's house getting ready for school. It was on the news. I really didnt know exactly what was going on till i got to school. I think we literally just watched the news all day.
I just remember being scared and wanting to go home.
As each year passed, every September 11th, it set in more and more of what actually happened.
My heart goes out to all the the families and loved ones effected by this day. SO many lives were lost and it was just so unfair.
Like a living Nightmare
something you only see in movies.
All the children who lost a parent.
Just seems so unreal.
All those heros.
So as much as i want to forget this day and pretend it never happened..
we need to remember those who lost their lives.
And those who risked their lives to save others.
