May 26th 1927- August 24th 2012
My Grandpa met my Grandma while he was in the army.
They were married on June 2nd 1947.
Long story short, they had 15 kids
(the youngest (twins) passed away shortly after birth). So 13 survived.
86 grand kids, 157 great grand kids, and 1 great great grand kid..
Thats a total of 233 descendants..... WOW

There really isnt much to say about the funeral,
so here is a video my cousin made and some pics that my cousins, Aunt & Uncle all took.

I am sorry for your loss, sending prayers up for you and your family!
Im sorry for your loss. You look a lot like your grandpa! It breaks my heart seeing the pics of your grandma. Was she aware of whats going on? No disrespect intended but I'm sure you know that. Seeing your grandma accepting the flag reminded me my of my grandpas funeral. He was also an Army vet. He passed away many years ago & I still remember it like it was last year.
That was a beautiful film to document your grandpa... Sorry for your loss.
Its hard losing a grandparent. It hit me very hard after all of mine died. Lovely pics hun and I'm sorry for your loss. It seemed like you and the rest of your family were very close to him. The ones of your grandma really break my heart especially her being given the flag. I hope he rests in peace
