Baiden's 3 Month Update

Yuck.
My baby turned FOUR MONTHS YESTERDAY!!
sad mama right here.

Anyway.. i meant to do this post a couple weeks ago but ya know. I suck at life. So here we are haha.

Baiden's 3 month update
 how did this happen?!
 My chubba bub EXPLODED!!
Bubba is seriously growing at warp speed.
Do they put growth hormones in formula now a days? Cuz i wouldnt be surprised if they do.
Braylee grew fast... but not THIS fast!!
Im very interested to see his stats and growth chart at his next check up!
As you know, after 2 months, you dont do another check up until 4 months old. So dont know his growth stats, but sets just say a #1 diaper is 8-14 lbs... and he is almost grown out of his #1 diapers.. HEALTHY BOY!!
*Baiden was eating about 5oz every 3 hours, but he now eats about 6oz every 4 hours now!
Baiden is now smiling A LOT!!
He is so smiley!

In the last couple weeks, he has even started to laugh (or try to). When he first stated laughing, it was so funny cuz he sounds like he is laughing, but his face looks scared and confused! Like he isnt sure what is happening haha!
*Baiden LOVES baths. He will lay in his bath and just stare at mama the whole time with a permanent half smile. Almost like he is in a euphoric state of mind, just in la la land LOVING his bath.
*Baiden is a COMPLETE mama's boy! Just what i wanted :) Braylee is such a daddy's girl so i always said "Baby boy BETTER be a mama's boy" :)
And the milestone that tops the cake for 3 months old...

BAIDEN HAS BEEN SLEEPING THROUGH THE NIGHT!!

HAAAAAALLELUJAH!
Braylee was backwards (didnt sleep at night at all) till about 2 months old. Then would only sleep about 2 hours at a time till about 4 months old. Then 3 hours, 4 hours, so on and so forth till she was about 8 months old. And even then, still needed at least one bottle a night and wouldnt always go right back to sleep till even past one years old.

Baiden on the other hand, from day one, sleeps through out the night, but would have about 3 bottles through out the night and go right back to sleep. The last week or 2, Baiden will go to bed at 8pm, and wake up for a bottle at 7am!! THEN, go back to sleep for another 2 hours!

This little man is seriously an angel baby.

He is starting to get really fun!
Cheers for 4 months!

*Baiden* 2 Month Update!

On November 23rd, Baiden turned 2 months old! So this post is between the time frame of 11/23-12/23.
{{Birth stats: 1 month early, 6 lbs 1oz, 18 inches long}}
So at Baiden's 2 month well check, he weighed in at
11.4 pounds (29th &-tile) and 23.5 inches (71st %-tile).
 (^^just like his father... lol)
Baiden is SERIOUSLY, the sweetest thing. Everyone warns you of how quick kids grow. And its true. Braylee grew so fast... but Baiden.. holy crap, i swear he is growing at WARP speed! Braylee's growth was very gradual and slowly inclining.. Bade's is sky rocketing. Not even joking.

The first month of Baiden's life he was newborn. Slept all the time. Got sick at 4 weeks. Started the colic, acid reflux, all that jazz... Well i am happy to announce, we are finally in control of all that! He is a healthy fat boy! We have him on a special formula for colic, prevacid for his reflux, and we add rice to all his bottles. And it TREMENDOUSLY helps his relux. He still has days where we struggle with it, but all in all, he is rocking it.

Baiden is smiling, cooing, and even starting to try to laugh. He is such a happy fat boy! Sweetest little soul. He goes to be around 10pm, sleeps till 5-6 a.m, has a bottle, then goes back to sleep till between 7-8 a.m. SUUUUCH a good sleeper!!
Braylee was a NIGHTMARE sleeper till she was 4 months old. And even then, she'd only sleep about 4-6 hours at at time. We really lucked out with a good sleeper! The man upstairs took mercy on my sleeping needs ;)

Baiden LOVED sitting in front of the Christmas tree and staring at the lights. He is SOO sweet. I cant emphasize that enough!!

He now loves his baths. He HATED them at first!
He sleeps a lot during the day and has a pretty sporadic schedule  but has an awesome schedule at night as i mentioned.
 His smile melts my heart.
LOOK AT THAT FACE!! Its pretty apparent even in pictures of how sweet he is!
He loves to cuddle and nestle into my chest.
Life is so good!
Baiden is such a blessing.
Braylee LOVES her baby brother and it shows that he loves her so much too. He gets so smiley when he hears Braylee's voice or see's her! Oh my goodness. Life is so amazing. I LOVE seeing my kids together :)

Adjusting To New Baby {Week 2&3}

As mentioned in my previous post, week 1 was just great. But week 2, i had some personal struggles.

Baiden was still amazing and super easy, and Braylee was still attention seeking, maybe a little bit more than week 1, but still not too bad. But for ME, all my stress and emotions that i had been suppressing, started to hit me hard. Jeff goes into work at 3:30am and drives truck, so he can NOT go to work tired. You just cant drive a semi truck sleepy. So i get up all night by myself. Well all the NICU drama, emergency D&C drama, photo shoots, being stressed about editing, and now adding in the lack of sleep.... I finally had a breakdown.

I was super moody, emotional, and stressed out week 2 and 3. It was crunch time on editing. I was really feeling very overwhelmed. I was feeling cooped up and like my life was just a blur! Like i didnt know where my day went! The 2 hour feedings, trying to attend to a 3 year old, trying to edit, i barely even fit time in for me to eat meals at a normal time (breakfast at 2pm... really??), get ready, or even shower. Overwhelmed is in understatement.

My amazing husband is responsible for holding me together and getting me through the days. He is so supportive, says just what i need to hear. Come home from long days at work with flowers and is so eager to help. I dont even have to ask. I have my amazing family, close friends, and sweet neighbors to thank too! I dont think we made dinner for a good week and a half after we brought Baiden home. We received gifts, diapers, cards, calls, just OVERWHELMING love and caring. Basically my negative overwhelmed feelings, and my positive overwhelmed feelings, kinda evened out. I was just a big emotional mess, positive and negative!

WEEK 3: The beginning of week 3 i think i had another break down. I'd take a shower and just BAWL. I had no control over my emotions but boy did it feel good to just let it out! BUT we have good news! Week 3 was when i started feeling a little more together. Getting the hang of things. Feeling good! There was a sense of calm that week. Mostly cuz i got my wedding edited and finished only 2 days late :) What a relief! Things were just great. It was a nice break before MORE stress...

At the end of week 3, Braylee woke up one night just crying and coughing. I went into her room and there it was! The croup barky cough :( Braylee gets it SOO easily. I dont even know where she got it. We seriously went out of the house like twice sense Baiden was born :( So we took her to the ER to get the steriod shot before it got worse and to protect the new tiny baby. That worked! No more croupy cough.. but Bray had a good nasty cough for the next week... HOLY ANXIETY!!!!

And dont you even fret... week 4... things got even worse as far as sickness. But ill talk about all that in my week 4&5 post... basically... PRAY FOR US! :(
